Nice hikes at Sharon preserved lands

With approximately 3,000 miles of conserved land under its auspices, the Sharon Land Trust offers pristine walks that can appeal to both the casual walker and eager hiker. 
On Friday, Aug. 3, I was able to meet with the only three employees of the Sharon Land Trust: Executive Director Maria Grace, Land Steward Tim Hunter and summer intern Nick Winburn, a rising senior at Housatonic Valley Regional High School. 
We hiked two different parcels of preserved land and I was able to get a small taste of the natural treasures that lie all around Sharon.
