KENT — After a public hearing that stretched through three sessions of the Planning and Zoning Commission and then two meetings, over the course of four months, the commission voted on Thursday, Nov. 14, to deny the Roberti family’s application to run a convalescent home on their property on Carter Road.
Attorney Dolores Schiesel of Kent had represented the members of the Roberti family, including Vin Roberti, who is facilities manager for the High Watch Recovery Center, which is nearby on Carter Road.
