FALLS VILLAGE — Thom Wilson’s ShireCon returned to the Center on Main in Falls Village on Saturday, Sept. 21 — the same day as the increasingly popular truck pull (see story, Page A6).

The unofficial head count during the lunch break for the second annual convention was 80, give or take a couple of players.

Wilson said some people who had preregistered had not shown up, but walk-in players made up the difference.
