Strangulation charge as Cornwall man is arrested

CORNWALL — A 46-year-old resident of South Road in Cornwall was arrested Sunday, Aug. 25, at about 6 p.m. when the Connecticut State Police at Troop B in North Canaan received a report of an active domestic disturbance. 

William Dinneen was determined by the police to be the aggressor in the incident, which involved another person whose name was not listed but whose age was listed as 51. An article in the Aug. 27 Republican American newspaper said the victim in the incident is a woman who lives with Dinneen.
