Students present findings at Cary Institute

MILLBROOK — For the past 32 years, the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies has conducted a program for undergraduate students doing research, for 12 weeks during the summer. At the end of that time, the students each present their research project, the tools employed in their research, their methodology and their findings. It’s all part of the Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program.

On Wednesday, Aug. 7, 12 students from seven different states gathered at the institute to share their work and findings with the public, family and friends.
