New vendors, perfect weather for weekend crafts fair

There was a little rain in the morning and a threat of afternoon showers. But the weather turned out to be generally perfect on Saturday, Aug. 3, for the 60th annual Sharon Craft Fair on the Green. 

“It was good. No, it was great,” said organizer Matt Andrulis Mette at about 2 p.m. The sky was  just turning dark and a strong wind was just picking up. Some of the vendors were packing up their tents and wares and preparing to leave. But, as Mette noted, by 2 p.m. most had already had a pretty good day, with lots of visitors and lots of sales.
