AMENIA — On Saturday, July 27, local residents had a gorgeous day to stop and smell the roses — and other flora — at the Amenia Garden Club plant sale at the Durbridge Garden, where they were encouraged to explore a variety of plants.

While the majority of plants came from Garden Club member Andy Durbridge’s garden, the sale also featured local growers including Flower Chix, Falls Village Flower Farm and Twin Brooks Nursery Farm. A portion of sales went to benefit the Amenia Garden Club.
