Tad David Jones

SALISBURY — It is with great sadness that the family of Tad David Jones, 53 of Summerton,  S.C., has gone with his Lord, after a long struggle with cancer, on July 3, 2019.

This is a sad day for our family as Tad was loved deeply by all his  family and friends.

Tad was an inspiration to all who knew him and will be forever remembered by all for his spunkiness.

He was a great friend to all; he had a kind gentle soul that was easily seen by anyone who ever encountered him.

Tad always had a smile on his face and loved spending time with his family and friends. It was often said that there wasn’t a stranger that Tad didn’t know or help along his travels. Tad had a passion for life and love for his dog, Bailey.

Tad is survived by his companions, Bailey and Holly (his cat); and by his father, Ronald Jones, and stepmom, Linda Sands, of Copake.

He was predeceased by his mother, Kathryn Wesley, and his stepdad, Jimmy Wesley.

He is survived by his three sisters, Tina McAlister of Bend, Ore., Melonie  Pallman of Wallingford, Conn., and Brenda Sands of Copake; four nieces and two nephews, Tiffany Byers of Albany, Ore., Meg Pallman of Wallingford, Brittany, and Sabrina Bishop of Granville, N.Y., Zack Capitiao of Middletown Conn., and Cody Bishop of Copake; two great-nephews and one  great-niece.

He was predeceased by a niece, Natasha Subklew.

Arrangements will include a spreading of his ashes at the Amenia Union Cemetery at 11 am on Aug. 25, 2019, followed by a life celebration at 428 Bog Hollow Road in Wassaic.
