Region One calendar gets OK

FALLS VILLAGE — The Region One Board of Education approved a revised calendar for the 2019-20 school year at its meeting Monday, Feb. 4, at Housatonic Valley Regional High School.

The major issue is the number of full weeks of school. There are 15 full weeks in the current school year.

Region One Superintendent Pam Vogel presented the board with two revised calendars. Option A had 18 full weeks, and option B had 20 full weeks.
