Amenia dives into winter at Maplebrook School

AMENIA — Amenia residents looking to capture some summer fun during the winter season can dive right into the open swim hours offered at the Maplebrook School pool.

While the pool is typically used by the school’s students and local swim teams throughout the year, Maplebrook School opens the pool to the town of Amenia free of charge every winter. As of last March, the school now has a brand new heated saltwater pool, complete with six swimming lanes and a chair for swimmers who need assistance to get into the pool.
