Wreaths honor those who served country

WINSTED —  More than 100 Northwest Corner residents, including veterans from all branches of the military, paid their respects to those who died, were captured or were missing in action. 

The Wreaths Across America ceremony was held at Forest View Cemetery in Winsted on Saturday, Dec. 15. It coincided with other Wreaths Across America events held across the country.

It was organized by the Brooks-Green Woods Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and DAR member Lynn Schrock.
