Shoppers in a bubbly mood at Kent’s Champagne Stroll

KENT — More than 200 people signed up in advance for the sixth annual Kent Champagne Stroll, a two-day holiday festival sponsored by the Kent Chamber of Commerce. Despite all the early registrationed particpants, the walk-in registration lines were also lengthy.

Merchants throughout townhelped shoppers get in a merry mood by pouring Champagnes and other bubbly wines into slim plastic flutes that were handed out at the registration table.
