Guzman, Wisdo declared winners


PINE PLAINS— Pine Plains residents fulfilled their civic responsibilities by voting on Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 6.

The polls were open at Pine Plains Town Hall from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. For this year’s election, voters cast their ballots for town justice and town assessor.

Out of a total of 969 votes, Republican candidate Ibis Guzman earned the majority vote for Pine Plains town justice with 514 votes, followed by Democratic incumbent candidate Peter Salerno with 455 votes.
