Connecting the AT and the local economy


HARLEM VALLEY— There’s no denying that the Appalachian Trail (AT), which wends its way through the eastern U.S. up into the Harlem Valley and then into Connecticut, Massachusetts and beyond, is an incredible resource for the region. Its power as an attraction to residents and visitors alike, and as an economic driver, is part and parcel of a new initiative to conduct the AT Community Economic Assessment.
