Students to be surveyed about bringing wrestling back to Pine Plains schools

PINE PLAINS — The Pine Plains wrestling team presented its case for reinstating the wrestling program as a school-sponsored sport at a Board of Education (BOE) meeting back in July.

Local coaches Tom Strudwick and Jim Baker spoke. In addition to the evening’s presenters, the majority of community members in attendance expressed interest in the program.
