Town Board considers possible noise ordinance


PINE PLAINS— The issue of whether the town needs a noise ordinance was raised at the August Town Board meeting, just as it was in July. According to town Councilwoman Sarah Jones, the board received a letter suggesting it consider such a law.

The letter, shared  by the board following a Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) request, was peppered with accusations against the town. It’s from Adrienne Haynes and Bea Licata, a mother and daughter who moved to Pine Plains in April.
