NOTICE TO BIDDERS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Pine Plains, NY invites sealed proposals for the furnishing of all materials, labor and related equipment necessary for the construction of the repair of the septic system serving the Town of Pine Plains Beach House located on Beach Road, Pine Plains, NY.  This contract has been designated Contract 18-007 as set forth in contract documents, including drawings and specifications, prepared by Morris Associates Engineering & Surveying Consultants, PLLC, 64 Green Street, Suite 1, Hudson, NY 12534.

Bids will be received by the Town Clerk of the Town of Pine Plains, Town Hall, P.O. Box 955, 3284 Route199, Pine Plains, NY 12567, until 1:00pm  on or before August 15, 2018, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud, with the contract being awarded as soon as practicable thereafter.

All bid and contract documents, including specifications governing the contract, may be examined free of charge at the Town Clerk’s office during business hours of 10:00 am to 1:15p.m. Monday through Friday. Copies of the Bid Documents may be obtained at the Town of Pine Plains Town Hall on or after August 3, 2017.  

No bid will be accepted unless a signed Certification of Non-Collusion is submitted with the bid.

The Pine Plains Town Board expressly reserves the right to waive any irregularities in or to accept any bid or to reject any and all bids or to award on any or all items, as the interest of the Town may appear to require.

No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within twenty-five (25) days after the actual date of the bid opening.

TOWN OF AMENIA

NOTICE OF SALE OF PROPERTY 

LOCATED AT 3320 ROUTE 343

The Town Board of the Town of Amenia will receive sealed bids for the sale of real property located at 3320 Route 343, Amenia, New York, bearing Tax Map. No. 7167-13-214475, until September 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Ten percent (10%) of the bid price shall accompany the bid, in the form of a certified check payable to the Town of Amenia. Deposits will be returned to unsuccessful bidders. 

Bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked “3320 Route 343”. 

    The bids shall be reviewed at a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Amenia held on September 20, 2018, in the Town of Amenia Town Hall, 4988 Route 22, Amenia, New York 12501. 

The Town will convey the parcel by Quitclaim Deed. Said conveyance will be subject to any and all conditions, restrictions, zoning, actions of the Town of Amenia and/or building inspectors, etc., affecting the said parcel or premises and to such facts as would be disclosed by a survey and inspection. The Town of Amenia makes no warranty or representation as to the condition, dimensions, location or physical existence of the property described herein, or to the marketability of its title, and the purchaser assumes all risk thereof. It shall be the responsibility of the purchaser to investigate all aspects of the status of the parcel and/or premises.

The Town of Amenia reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, or to withdraw the parcel from sale at any time. The sale shall be subject to approval by the Town Board of the Town of Amenia following a public hearing, subject to permissive referendum, and subject to necessary environmental review and approval.
