Summer is the perfect time to check out the library annex’s book sale room

NorthEast-Millerton Library Director Rhiannon Leo-Jameson reorganized the $1 mystery hardcover books at the Century Boulevard Library Annex book sale room. The project was made possible thanks to the construction of shelves by students in the Hudson Questar III BOCES program in Hudson, with material donated by Ed Herrington, Inc. MILLERTON— One of the town’s best kept retail secrets is tucked away in the NorthEast-Millerton Library Annex, a tidy white building at 28 Century Blvd., opposite the post office.

There, every summer Saturday morning between Memorial and Labor Days, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., library volunteers hold sway over the library book sale room. It features a bargain collection of gently-used books, DVDs, CDs and puzzles, all of which have been donated in order to boost the library coffers.
