A race in memory of Evan Rashkoff

SHARON — The first annual Evan Rashkoff Memorial Sunset Trot was held in Sharon on Thursday, July 19. The event was organized by Sharon Parks and Recreation Director Matt Mette and the son  of the orthopedic surgeon, who died suddenly in October 2017 at the age of 66. 

Eighty-three people ran the 4.1 mile course. Among them  were members of the Run 169 Towns Society, a group that aims to run races in all 169 towns in the state of Connecticut.
