Speeders beware: Village cops are on the look out

MILLERTON — Speeding is not only against the law — it’s dangerous — and proactive law enforcement is a primary weapon in curbing this deadly behavior.

The Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee is encouraging law enforcement to participate in Speed Awareness Week — a high-visibility enforcement campaign aimed at reducing incidence of speed-related crashes. 

According to Millerton Police Department Officer-in-Charge David Rudin, the Millerton force will join the effort.
