CORNWALL — A small herd of cows is assured of grazing space following a town meeting on Tuesday, July 10. The vote will award a lease of 99 acres and a barn along Kent Road to Jeff and Sarah Casel.

The property was formerly owned by the Lorch family. The town acquired it in 2006.

The 16 residents at the meeting voted unanimously to approve the plan. The lease will require payment of $200 annually. The Casels are planning to start with a small herd of 18 to 20 cows. They plan to sell milk, meat and eggs.
