Students get all wet

On Wednesday and Thursday, June 6 and 7, third-graders at  Seymour Smith Intermediate Learning Center participated in a water cycle program at the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies.  The FRIENDS of the Pine Plains Free Library group has been arranging and sponsoring this event for five years, which coordinates with the third-grade curriculum. This year’s trip was organized by FRIENDS Treasurer Jean Osofsky. The Cary Institute’s Michelle Forster, above,  led the program.
