New use for Chinese restaurant?

LAKEVILLE — The former Chinese restaurant on Main Street in Lakeville was the subject of a brief and informal discussion between Richard Gentile, Seth Churchill and the Salisbury Planning and Zoning Commission during the commission’s meeting on Monday, June 25.

Gentile, a developer who lives in Madison, Conn., said he has been in negotiations with the owner of the property and felt fairly confident he was close to making a deal to purchase it.

Gentile said his father ran the drugstore that used to be in the building until the late 1990s.
