Howzat? Cricket returns to Salisbury June 23

SALISBURY — A new tradition in the stately New England town of Salisbury is the annual late-June cricket match on Community Field (behind what was and will be the PATCO service station) in the village of Lakeville. 

Most Americans know that cricket is a game that originated in England and is now played (with feverish devotion) in all the current and past nations of what used to be known as the United Kingdom. 

What most Americans don’t know is how to play (or even watch) this famously arcane sport.
