Bugs, students and a day in the stream

CORNWALL — Lots of bugs inhabiting a stream is a good thing. The children who attend the after-school program at Cornwall Consolidated School (CCS) learned a lot about those bugs on Wednesday, May 23, in a stream across the street from their school.

Staff from the Housatonic Valley Association (HVA) offered a program called Get River Smart, one of a series of programs they have designed for youngsters to learn about waterways.
