Student-built cars at Lime Rock Park

FALLS VILLAGE — Students from high schools across Connecticut gathered at Lime Rock Park to race electric cars that they had built from scratch at their schools. The Connecticut Electrathon was on Friday, May 18.

Students drove the cars on one  of the smaller tracks located in the in-field area at Lime Rock. Each school had one designated driver for their car. All the drivers raced on the track at the same time. However, the drivers did not race against each other.
