MILLERTON — Lew Saperstein, longtime owner of the iconic Saperstein’s store, was celebrated as he and his family were cheered for their 70 years of service to Millerton on Saturday, May 12, at Lew’s retirement party.

“The party’s a very nice surprise,” he said. “I had a lot of fun and I got to say goodbye to a lot of people and old friends, and I look forward to visiting Millerton and seeing the progress with the store here.”
