Sharon voters give nod to new budget plans

SHARON — Voters unanimously approved all budget proposals at the annual town meeting, held Friday, May 11, at Town Hall. 

No comments were offered by the 60 residents attending. All of the votes on all of the items were passed unanimously. John Perotti served as moderator.

A strong voice vote approved the budgets as presented by the finance board, showing total expenditures for the selectmen’s side of $4,609,567, up by $134,729 over current year levels. 

The fiscal year begins July 1.
