AMENIA — A total of 52 artists brought 182 pieces of studio work plus 10 pieces painted in plein air style to Maplebrook School on Saturday, May 5. The private school for students with learning differences held its annual Kentucky Derby Art Show and Sale as a fundraiser, from 4 to 7 p.m.

The evening featured the usual Derby fanfare — mint juleps included — along with tours of the school’s new saltwater pool.

The exhibit remains open with art for sale on weekends from 1 to 4 p.m. through Saturday, June 2.
