A Local Day Hike on The Appalachian Trail

These soft spring days are a good time to be out in the woods, and if you can coordinate with another person, walking a section of the Appalachian Trail is an inviting option.

One manageable half-day section walk connects Falls Village and Salisbury. There are parking spots at either end, and the driving time between them is just twelve minutes.
