Students connect with nature at Dover schools’ Earth Day

DOVER PLAINS — The Dover Union Free School District invited students to join in the celebration of Earth Day with a morning of educational exhibits and demonstrations on Friday, April 20.

With doors opening at 8 a.m., Dover Earth Day was held in the Dover High School gymnasium from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event welcomed Dover students in grades fifth through 12th who rotated through the gym during the morning’s festivities.
