Town moves ahead with 2018 budgets

FALLS VILLAGE — The Falls Village Board of Finance reviewed proposed spending plans for 2018-19 from the Board of Education and Board of Selectmen on Monday evening, April 9.

School board Chair Pat Mechare said the board was able to whittle the budget plan for the Lee H. Kellogg School down a bit from the previous budget draft.

First Selectman Henry Todd took 9 minutes and 43 seconds to present the spending plan for town government. The spending plan’s bottom line is almost the same as for 2017-18.
