Making plans for summer bridge work

CORNWALL — In preparation for this summer’s repair project, state Department of Transportation engineers visited the historic Covered Bridge in West Cornwall on Monday, April 2, to look for scour or erosion at the water line.

An advance report of the visit was presented at the Tuesday, March 20, meeting of the Cornwall Board of Selectmen.

According to Roger Kane, consultant to the town on bridges, the selectmen needed to be notified of the planned inspection.
