TAX COLLECTOR

TOWN OF SALISBURY CT

Pursuant to Sec. 12-145 of the Connecticut State Statutes, the taxpayers of the Town of Salisbury are hereby notified that the fourth installment on the Grand List of October 1, 2016 is due and payable on April 1, 2018. Payments must be received or postmarked by May 1, 2018. If said Real Estate and Personal Property taxes are not paid on or before May 1, 2018, interest at the rate of one and one half percent (18% per year) will be added for each month or a fraction thereof which elapses from the time when such tax becomes due and payable until the same is paid. Minimum interest charge is $2.00.

Pursuant to Section 12-173 of the Connecticut State Statutes, unpaid Real Estate tax on the Grand List of October 1, 2016 will be LIENED on JUNE 1, 2018.  Payment must be received by 12:00 p.m. on  June 1, 2018 to avoid a Lien.

Taxes can be paid by mail addressed to: Tax Collector, P.O. BOX 338, Salisbury CT 06068 or at the Town Hall, 27 Main Street, on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dated at Town of Salisbury CT this 12th day of March 2018.

NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE

TOWN OF SHARON

The Town of Sharon at a Special Town Meeting, March 23, 2018 voted to adopt and amend the following Ordinances. A12, A2, E2, A18, A3, B6, A3, and increase all fines to $250.00.

The full text of the ordinances is on file with the Sharon Town Clerk, where a copy can be obtained.

This document is prepared for the benefit of the public, solely for the purposes of information, summarization and explanation.  This document does not represent the intent of the legislative body of the Town of Sharon for any purpose. (CGS 7-157).

These ordinances are to take effect fifteen days from publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Sharon.

Notice of Public Hearing

April 9, 2018

A public hearing called by the Board of Finance will be held in the Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018 with the following agenda:

1. To receive public comment on the proposed Board of Education budget as presented.

2. To receive public comment on the proposed Board of Selectman, town government budget as presented.
