MILLBROOK — The Millbrook Alliance of Churches, which includes Grace Episcopal Church, Lyall Federated Memorial Church and St. Joseph-Immaculate Conception Church, gathered at the Thorne Building on Sunday, March 25, to celebrate the Blessing of the Palms. According to Christianity, this yearly event honors the entry of Jesus into Bethlehem, riding a borrowed donkey not previously ridden. According to gospel, the disciples laid their cloaks upon the donkey’s back and the multitudes laid their cloaks and palm branches on the  ground for the donkey’s journey.
