Town Board meets: Storm aftermath and solar talks


WASHINGTON— The  Town Board met on Thursday, March 8. Town Supervisor Gary Ciferri presided. 

Highway Superintendent Joseph Spagnola gave a monthly report on the first storm in March, which included the fact that four trees were downed, There were 12 incidents of downed wires, eight major drifts and one accident, on Hoxie Road. Crews managed to clear the roads.

Town Bookkeeper Dana Sukow reported that court books are complete, for both judges, going back two years.
