No increase in Region One budget

FALLS VILLAGE — The proposed Region One School District spending plan for the 2018-19 school year is flat at $15,777,308 (a zero percent increase).

The draft proposal, dated Feb. 27, was discussed at a joint meeting of the Region One Board of Education and the All Boards Chairs committee on Monday, March 5.

There are some faculty reductions: part-time teaching positions in English, German and physical education. 

There is also a reduction of one full-time special education position via retirement.
