WINSTED — Democratic gubernatorial candidate Ned Lamont made a pitch for his candidacy at the Winsted Community Bookstore on Saturday, Feb. 17.

More than 75 people attended what was the first in a series of talks by gubernatorial candidates at the store.

Lamont sought the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate against Joe Lieberman in 2006. He also sought the Democratic nomination for governor in 2010 against Dannel P. Malloy.
