BOE extends superintendent’s contract for 2019-20

PINE PLAINS— The Pine Plains Board of Education (BOE) announced its success last week in securing Superintendent of Schools Martin Handler’s services for an additional year by extending his contract.

“Let me just say I love it here,” Handler said. “This is a great community to live in, be in and work in.”

He described his time in Pine Pines as “a very pleasurable experience both personally and professionally.”
