Washington Town Board reorganizes for upcoming year

WASHINGTON — The Town Board met on Thursday, Jan. 11, combining its regular monthly meeting with the task of yearly reorganizing. 

The first order of business was town attorney Jeff Battistoni swearing in town Supervisor Gary Ciferri and Councilman Steven Turletes, who were both re-elected in the November elections. Michael Murphy, who was also re-elected as councilman, was not present.

Ciferri then went on to make recommendations as follows.

Turletes was appointed deputy supervisor through December, 2021.
