North East Town Board reorganizes for 2018


NORTH EAST— The Town Board kicked off the new year by hosting its annual organizational meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 2.

Starting at 3 p.m., the meeting drew in a tidy group of 10 and was brought to order by town Supervisor George Kaye. 

In his introductory remarks, Kaye recognized Councilmen Jim Campbell and Steven Merwin, both Republicans, as retiring board members and expressed appreciation for their service. He also welcomed Chris Kennan and Ralph Fedele, both Democrats, as the board’s newest members.
