Festivities end with cocoa, gifts

FALLS VILLAGE — With the assistance of eighth-grade students from the Lee H. Kellogg school, the Falls Village Recreation Commission held a Christmas tree lighting on the town Green on Sunday, Dec. 3.

As darkness fell at around 5:30 p.m., people gathered around, were issued candles and song sheets, and followed the musical leadership of Brook Martinez, the music teacher at Kellogg.

Martinez had the crowd of more than 100 people warm up with some hearty “whoas” and “ho-ho-hos.”
