North East Town Board proposes budget: $50,000 earmarked for EMS, $35,000 for storage


NORTH EAST — The Town Board worked on its 2018 municipal budget at its October board meeting. The subject will be raised for discussion once again on Thursday, Nov. 9, at which time the board will hold a public hearing on the document — and shoot to adopt it.

Last month, the board presented the 2018 tentative budget, which morphed into the preliminary budget that evening. Overall, said town Supervisor George Kaye, it’s a sound fiscal plan.
