Helping autistic children find their way in the world

WINSTED — The experiences of and the challenges facing autistic children and adults were discussed at the Autism Spectrum Unplugged panel held at Northwestern Connecticut Community College (NCCC) in Winsted on Thursday, Nov. 2.

The event was sponsored by NCCC’s Parent Support Group and the Litchfield County Autism Spectrum Association.

The discussion was lead by Donna Swanson, co-founder of the Focus Center for Autism in Canton.
