Amenia mourns death of lifelong resident John P. Culligan Sr.


AMENIA — Townspeople were saddened to learn that lifelong resident John P. Culligan Sr. died on Thursday, Sept. 28, at the age of 65.

Many remember Culligan for his steadfast service to the town, his kindness and his ability to reach out to help everyone he came in contact with. A former student of the Webutuck Central School District, Culligan remained a strong supporter of Webutuck sports teams following his graduation in 1970.
