Appreciation: Dale Golden

Dale Golden was tireless in his effort to support the growth and development of Time Out Foundation. His commitment was boundary-free. We called on him at anytime, and he was always there. Time Out will be forever indebted to his kindness and attention.

We know his spirit endures, we were all very fortunate to have had him in our life.

Time Out Foundation is a dream come true because of many hardworking and supportive community members. Dale was one of our most enthusiastic and committed board members. He was also a dear friend.

Dale had asked for the community to support Time Out in his memory.

We have established a fund in his memory for any local child to participate in the activity of their choice here at the foundation.

Memorial donations may be sent to Time Out Foundation, PO Box 1683, Lakeville, CT 06039.

Magic Fluke Ukulele Shop and True Wheels Bicycle Shop are not only under the same roof in a beautiful solar powered building on Route 7 in Sheffield, but they are also both run by the Webb family, telling a tale of familial passion, innovation and a steadfast commitment to sustainability.

In the late ‘90s, Dale Webb was working in engineering and product design at a corporate job. “I took up instrument manufacturing as a fun challenge,” said Dale. After an exhibit at The National Association of Music Merchants in Anaheim, California, in 1999, The Magic Fluke company was born. “We were casting finger boards and gluing these things together in our basement in New Hartford and it just took off,” Dale explained. “It was really a wild ride, it kind of had a life of its own.”
