When 9-year-old Charlie Hamilton first saw 78-year-old magician Sandy Rhoades perform at the Lee H. Kellogg School in Falls Village a few years ago, he became enamored with magic. Later, he went to the David M. Hunt Library and checked out a book on Harry Houdini.

“That book really sparked it,” Charlie said.
