FALLS VILLAGE — Finding healthy, locally grown food is no longer a problem in the Tri-state region. There seem to be daily farm markets in area towns, with a long list of farmers producing a colorful array of everything from kohlrabi to carrots and beef to beets. 

But what is a child to do with a raw carrot? Or an unpeeled potato?
