Obstacle race benefits women’s charities

WINSTED — While she is only 8 years old, Lily Markavich knew exactly why she took part in the Stronger Women Stronger World Obstacle Race at Northwestern Regional  High School on Saturday, Aug. 5.

“I liked all the obstacles, and because it you do things like this it will make you a stronger adult when you get older,” Lily said. 

Lily, a third-grader, ran side by side with her mother, Andrea Markavich, just as she has been doing since she was 4 years old.
