Elite riders compete at Millbrook Horse Trials

In spite of thunderstorm warnings and a torrential downpour on Thursday, Aug. 3, the annual Millbrook Horse Trials at Coole Park Farm were once again exciting and well-attended. 

A total of 437 horses, from as far away as Florida, Michigan and Canada, competed in the four-day event. Some owners brought a  single horse, others brought as many as nine. 

Competition was in categories ranging from dressage to cross-country to stadium jumping.
